There are times when congregations go off course. There are misunderstandings or disagreements regarding the direction the ministry is going and it is simply helpful to get some outside guidance in order to get perspective on the situation.
There are times when some people feel that their thoughts and opinions are not being heard. Other times there are so many discussions happening at the same time that some voices get drowned out.
Congregational GPS does not use a cookie cutter approach but rather discusses with the congregation's contact person as to what the situation is and what approach would be best to use. All approaches include some kind of a listening process, either in groups or individually, ensuring that all voices feel heard and are respected. The individual interviews can be conducted over the phone for convenience if desired.
Using the image of a windshield where the rearview mirror is considerably smaller than the windshield itself, Congregational GPS pays attention to the past and what has happened, but is more interested in looking forward in order to get and stay on a healthy road for ministry.
The entire process is undergirded with a spiritual foundation and concludes with a report which informs the congregation/leadership what was heard and a strategy for what some steps might be moving in to the future.
Packages start at $800 and can also include a coaching component for pastors and/or ministry leaders if desired. For more information, email Barbara@CongregationalGPS.com or you can leave a message at 715-505-4879.
